Responsibilities:

• Triaging calls
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in evaluation of patient needs
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families
• Timely and accurate documentation
• Quality Assurance
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved nursing program/school is required.
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting is required. At least 1 year of Hospice experience is required.
• Active Michigan RN License is required.
• Active AHA BLS Certification is required.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Schedule:

• Weekends – 12 hour days
• Holidays
• On call
